Nick Yokell is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in the engineering and manufacturing fields. Currently serving as a Research and Development Engineer at Americase, Nick plays a pivotal role in problem-solving and driving mission-critical solutions for the company. His responsibilities include collecting job requirements, proposing innovative product ideas, and collaborating with the Production team to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Nick is known for his holistic approach to design, always striving to achieve a balance between customer satisfaction, engineering, and production.

With 12 years of experience in Engineering and Manufacturing, including 10 years in the Conveyor/Material Handling industry and 1.5 years in the Electric Drive Systems/LEV industry, Nick brings a unique skill set to Americase. His career history includes roles as an Industrial Engineer at Linear Labs Inc., where he excelled in production line setup, tooling design, process control, and resolution of production issues. Additionally, he played a crucial role in numerous R&D projects and supported the ERP system.

Prior to that, Nick served as a Senior CAD Designer/R&D Designer at Honeywell Intl. Inc., SPS Division/Transnorm System Inc., specializing in new product development, design file parametrization, and ERP system integration. Nick’s achievements and dedication to problem-solving have made him a valuable asset to every organization he’s been a part of.

Nick is also a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP), highlighting his commitment to professional development. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is known for his love of Root Cause Analysis and his passion for continuous improvement. His Myers-Briggs personality type is INTP, reflecting his analytical and creative mindset.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his spouse and their four cats. He’s a natural tinkerer, always seeking innovative solutions.
