Derrick is the Director of Sales for the Americase team, facilitating the sales process from lead to product delivery, and coordinating all internal and external sales resources. Additionally, Derrick works on optimizing processes to eliminate wasted down time, minimizes the opportunity for mistakes, and provides oversight on customer experience and R&D matters.

While Derrick joined the Americase team in 2013, working through roles as a Graphic Designer, Account Manager, and Senior Account Manager and being involved in every aspect of the business and hundreds of complex designs, he began his career as the Owner & Operator of Double Designs and working his way from Boat Detailer to the General Manager role at the Houston Watersports Complex.

Derrick shows dedication in his life as a devoted husband and father, but–above all else–a Follower of Christ. He has always seen himself as a curious problem solver with many of his best times revolving around a complex problem that needed a solution. Whether it is a truck stuck in a ditch, a problem with a recurring injury in the workplace, or an item being damaged in transit, Derrick excels and enjoys the hunt for a solution, approaching the situation from different angles to pursue out of the box solutions.
